Doyle's American Karate Academy was established in 1985 and has been  located at 7272 Jackson St., Mentor, Ohio since 1987.  This unique building situated in the "Old Mentor Village" area was built in 1950 and was called the Pythian Castle.  The 4800 sq. ft. historic building makes an excellent training facility for the Martial Arts practioner. 

The school has 2 mat covered training floors which provides a convienent way to train different classes at one time. Kenpo Karate, Aerobic Kickboxing, Escrima/Kali, Tai Chi and personal training are all taught in a organized manner using the space the building provides.

The training facility is equiped with hanging heavy bags, stationary water filled bags, kicking shields, focus mits and other equipment which allows the student to achieve their maximum potential.

Parents and visitors watch classes from our seated viewing area or the lobby.  The lobby has a pro shop where equipment may be purchased for the student.  On display are uniforms, sparring equipment, martial arts weapons, and all other equipment needed for classes.

The disciplined staff are dedicated in bringing out the best in each and every student.  We provide a safe, fun, clean and healthy environment for all children, teens, and adults to train.  We have been in buisness for over 20 years for one reason...RESULTS !!!
